It is very important to have sufficient levels of light illuminating products in a retail environment. If merchandise is not properly lit, it will not grab the attention of potential customers. There are few retail environments in which this is more true than in a jewelry store; where brilliance is of utmost importance.

To Ensure that their product does not go unnoticed, Safari Jewelry in Dubai, U.A.E. employed 24 DUCAT-IV adjustable recessed downlights for each shelf in a custom display case. Rated at only 5W each, the entire array consumes only 240 watts. Each Luminaire however produces approximately 300 lumens, all of which are focused directly on the product through collimating optics, preventing lost lumens and wasted watts. With such illumination levels, the product on display becomes very difficult not to notice.
