Disney Grand Califonian Hotel
PROJECTS / HOSPITALITY
Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa is the flagship resort hotel for the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California, U.S.A. The Hotel & Spa was built with 745 rooms and 44 suites. In 2009, the hotel was expanded to increase capacity. In addition to more rooms, villa suites were constructed as well, The Villas at Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.
The New Villas feature extra amenities such as laundry and a full kitchen. In the kitchen, Grenald Waldron Associates, responsible for the lighting design, specified GVA Lighting's STR8 LED Under-Cabinet Strip Luminaire for counter top illumination. On either side of the stove top, the low profile STR8 Luminaires remain completely out of the way and out of sight as they illuminate the granite counter tops below.
