by Public Visualization Studio

Public Visualization Studio presents In The Air, Tonight, a month-long interactive architecture installation aimed at encouraging a larger discussion on the topic of homelessness.

Here’s how it works:

Every time someone tweets using the hashtag #homelessness a red pulse appears on the Ryerson Image Centre.

Every time someone donates to the STAR Learning Centre, a program that helps people transition from homelessness to housing, a bright white pulse appears on the building.

In between tweets and donations, a blue wave-like animation appears, changing with the wind speed and direction.
