This landmark Art Deco building is being renovated and converted for retail uses as part of the Detroit downtown revitalization effort. GVA’s Highlighter® HL-DL system, capable of 350+ ft of continuous run from a single power supply, naturally lends itself for delineation of the building’s roofline.
Through proprietary INFINITY® technology, a DMX signal is relayed from a single PDB–INF-2000 power data box to 284-ft of RGB fixtures in a single run. The bright roofline, efficiently lit at 1.5~5W per foot, presents the building in a nostalgic air, recalling an era when delineation was done by colorful neon tubes.
