Power-Data Converter Generation 5

Designed for lighting circuits and operating on the all-new proprietary COLOR-STREAM® platform, PDC-G5 is the latest generation GVA Power-Data Converter. PDC-G5 converts industry standard communication protocols such as Art-Net 4, sACN, DMX-512A, DALI / DALI 2 or 0~10V to GVA's COLOR-STREAM® protocol, seamlessly integrating other GVA technologies and outputting unified power-data leader cables for advanced lighting systems.

Controls up to 64 universes, 32 per output with ArtNet
Up to 100 meter (328 ft) leader and jumper cables
Enables COLOR-STREAM® platform for high speed communication (6.25 Mbps), up to 200 frames per second refresh rate and 12-bit dimming resolution @ 40 kHz dimming frequency
COLOR-STREAM® data is fully galvanically isolated from external communication network and protected from power cross
Remote monitoring of temperature inside PDC-G5 and each connected luminaire, relative humidity inside PDC-G5, current per power output
Remote firmware updates for PDC-G5 and connected luminaires via Ethernet connection (Art-Net, sACN)
USB-C connector for easy firmware updates, system commissioning and troubleshooting
Automatic luminaire discovery and addressing
Wide variety of supported incoming communication protocols: Art-Net 4, sACN, DMX-512A, DALI / DALI 2 or 0~10V
Standard RJ45 data connections for Ethernet communication protocols (Art-Net 4, sACN)
Fiber-optic data connection option for extremely long distance from data source (SFP modules, LC connector, 155 Mbps) – under development
